The 2017 KY History Half isn’t just for adults–our Children’s Activities make it possible for kids to have a great time, too!  We have two fun activities set up just for kids, both led by the Kentucky Historical Society Learning Team:

Need a safe and fun place to leave your children while you run the race? Sign them up for the Racing Through History camp. Children will learn about the early people of Kentucky as they make a Native American-inspired pinch pot. While traveling through our exhibit, A Kentucky Journey, they will bind their own journal and read historic stories. For the last stretch, children will create inventions after learning about the great inventors of our state.
